I've been visiting Thompson Optics for almost a year and I must say, I am extremely satisfied with their job! Dr. Tarabey and Dr. Jim are amazing guys and excellent professionals. They are incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. They fitted me with scleral lenses after having cross linking surgery in both my eyes. I would highly recommend getting scleral lenses for anyone with keratoconus. The ladies at the front desk are also friendly and helpful every time I go for my appointments. Sorry for the late review. At first, I had difficulty finding what's appropriate with my Keratoconus problem. I tried so many different prescription glasses since I was diagnosed with it. Seeking expert opinion and professional care is my only option. I was referred by Dr. Bandali of Aspen Eye Care to Thompson Optics - Edmonton, because their the ones that could really help me with my problem. I was amazed by the services they had given me. Although erroneous appointment letter, they make it to the point that I got a check-up and had my lens fitting. After 2 weeks of waiting from the day of my initial check up. I received my new scleral lens, it was really amazing how I see the world now. It's clear and more lively than before. Guess what? Dr. Tarabey is second to none at what he does. Dr. Jomha and the associates at Lifetime EyeCare have collaborated with Dr. Tarabey on many complex cases that are outside of our expertise. The level of knowledge and ability to treat a wide range of visual disorders goes way beyond the strenuous training in Optometry school, which shows the dedication to his specialty. Dr. Tarabey is our go to when in need of advice and is the only person I would trust with my family if a complicated anterior segment visual impairment should arise.

I have been coming to Thompson Optics for about 20+ years for all of my eyeglasses - because of my prescription, I need a really good dispensing optician. This time I also had an exam by Dr. Moe Tarabey - who is excellent and knowledgeable. I was helped with new glasses by Andrey - we had a short discussion about frames, he went over to the cabinet and picked out a couple of pairs, and the second pair were the ones. Usually this process takes me an hour - this time about 5 minutes. Frames are generally hard for me because the frame has to fit my face and also accommodate my lenses. I am very pleased with my new glasses, and do not hesitate to recommend Thompson Optics. Thank you to the Dr. Moe, Andrey, Jim and the rest of the Thompson Optics team!

I referred a patient from my office to see the optometrist at Thompson optics for a specialty contact lens fitting . The patient was suffering from a condition called Keratoconus. They offered him scleral lenses. The patient now has very good vision, I am very happy for my patient. I also thank Thompson Optics staff for the great work, service and patient care they offered.
